Ghost Cookies
Today I decided to haul up all the Halloween decorations and give our house a little Halloween makeover. Spider webs on the ceiling, ghost light and lots of pumpkin decor. I also made some cutout cookies with the kids. They had so much fun!

I love the weekends because I get to spend time with my family. This weekend my parents and Kristy were in Vegas and Spencer was working on our electrical so it was kinda boring. I spent the moring making Ty some curtains fir his room that turned out adorable! That evening we decided to go out shopping. We first stopped at Party City to look at costumes but it was very crowded and we didn't see anything that really caught our eye. Of'coarse since Chucky cheese was next door we decided to take the kids in. They were so excited. They absolutly love Chucky Cheese and so do I!

Messy Art
Art class was very messy today! The kids painted and decorated pumpkins. They had a great time but were covered in paint! Kate put three eyes on hers and Ty's was very multi colored. After class we stopped at Boston Market to get some lunch to take to Daddy's work and have a picnic in the car with him.

Tonight we had dinner at Aunt Kristy and Uncle Tommy's. Tom made such an amazing meal. Chicken, mashed potato's, corn and croissant's. Kate and Ty love Aunt Kristy's house! Kate loves playing with all her shoes and hair clips and Ty loves playing with all the DVDs, toy Nerf gun's and the vending machine!

Jump!
October 20th, 2009:
Today was so nice out! The kids and I played out in the backyard the majority of the day. We played in the leaves and they were jumping on the trampoline. I love fall!

Our New Easel
On the way home from our weekend in Canada we stopped at Ikea to buy the kids an Easel. They love painting at Art class so we figured this would be great to have at home. As soon as we got home we let them try it out! I have some very creative artists!
Thanksgiving with my Canadian Family
I love being able to celebrate Thanksgiving twice a year, once in October and once in November! It is always great to get together with our family in Canada because we do not see them as much as we would like too because of the distance! Kate, Ty and Lukas are all at the age now where they can play and have fun together.
....well most of the time they are getting along!
Lilly and Brier had a great time too. They were smiling and laughing at each other!
This year we did things differently and ordered in. I was suprised that we were going to be having Kentucky Frid Chicken for dinner but it was actually really good and stress free. We had alot of fun visiting with the family and miss everyone already!

October 15th, 2009:
The kids love Thursdays because they have Art class in the afternoon. Today we arrived a little early so we played at the playground around the corner for a bit before.
This playground had an old style teeter tauter that the kids had alot of fun on! It was funny though because they weigh almost the exact same so they kept getting stuck in the middle.
When it was time to go it was a war getting them back into the car for Art class because they were having so much fun running around! They were very excited though when we arrived at Art class. Today they worked on a messy project. They splattered paint into pieces of paper with spoons. They also learned about the primary colors and even remembered them later that day when I asked them. They really have such a great time each week.

My new Kitchen!!!

I am LOVING my new kitchen! My amazing husband added an island to our kitchen and installed our new Samsung dishwasher. My also amazing Uncle covered the counters in some beautiful granite! The island has a breakfast bar on the opposite side which the kids love. This kitchen will definitly be getting alot of use!
I just purchased a kenmore bread maker and am loving it! Today I made the most delicious Cinnamon rolls using this recipe http://allrecipes.com/Recipe/Clone-of-a-Cinnabon/Detail.aspx.
Baking is one of my favorite hobbies especially in the fall when its chilly outside!
